Elynn Diamond has been performing professionally since the age of seventeen and has been teaching in the city since 1978.  She has recorded lead and back-up vocals for Motown, CBS Records, Arista and a number of independent producers including Kurt Peterson, Ian Herman, Ronnie Lawson, Brian Gari, Jeff Olsted and Bert Goodman.

Elynn's professional singing credits include a feature performance in "Love Bites" starring Chita Rivera (produced by and starring Wayne Cilento).
In addition to her singing, Elynn spent several years dancing professionally with the Ronnie DeMarco Jazz Dancers and later taught classes
at his studio. She also taught jazz classes at the original Broadway Dance Center in New York City and went on to introduce her unique
"Emotional Jazz Dance Class" at Carnegie Hall.


While at Carnegie Hall, Elynn opened Elynn Diamond Studio and founded "Freeing Your Voice Means Opening Your HeartTM "
Singing Performance Classes for Singers, Actors and Dancers
. This is a process that integrates a student's spirit, intellect and emotion with vocal technique. Student's work at all levels and in all styles, including R&B, Jazz, Musical Theatre, Classical, Opera, etc. Elynn has also created a Monologue Study Class which emphasizes acting with emotional truthfulness and clarity of intention.

A producer and director as well, Elynn has produced such artist as Kim Garfunkel, Tome' Cousin, Christine Emsley, Joanne Weaver,
Tierney Boisvert and Victoria Lecta Cave to name a few, throughout the New York City club scene.  

Elynn conceived, produced and directed the acclaimed "Christine Emsley sings Nyro" at the Laurie Beechman Theatre in NYC.
Elynn has produced and directed performers at The Triad, The Duplex, Don't Tell Mama and was producer for the sold out/standing room only performance of the original, "Interstellar Songbook" at Theater 80, in New York City, starring Joanne Weaver.

In June 2017, Elynn was the Creator, Producer and Executive Producer of "LOVE CURESTM...A Benefit Of Healing For The Abused Child's Soul", starring Broadway World Award Winner Julie Budd, and featuring a cast of Broadway Performers and Recording Artist. This Benefit-Concert          was Co-Produced by Emmy Award Winner Rick Traum and was Directed by the renowned Tony Award and Drama Desk Award Winner,            Wayne Cilento. It was held at Symphony Space in NYC. In December 2015 Elynn was the Creator, Producer and Executive Producer of
"LUIGI...A Benefit-Tribute Concert" starring Tony Award Winner and Four Time Grammy Nominee Ms. Melba Moore at New York's famed
Symphony Space. Co-Produced by Emmy Award Winner, Rick Traum and Directed by Award Winning Director/Choreographer, Tome' Cousin. 

Elynn works holistically, believing that it truly is an integration of our physical, spiritual, emotional and mental energies that allow us to be whole
and complete. She is deeply committed to freeing the artist from the "inside out" and believes that what goes on in your life goes on in your art.
She brings compassion, insight and humor to her work. In addition to her teaching, Elynn continues to write musicals, produce and direct. 
Elynn is also available as a vocal arranger for recordings and live performances.
